For Nonna and Pop

My parents have been two of our greatest supporters throughout the last 10 years. They have encouraged us as parents and as husband and wife. They've blessed our family in countless ways on countless occasions and we are so thankful to be able to have them with us while our children grow. They each have always been the greatest influences in my life and the Lord has used my parents to shape my character and guide me down life's journies.

When Tony and I were married - although timing and circumstances may not have created the most "ideal" situation - my parents stood by us and helped us to see that everything would be ok. They did not judge or codemn in anyway - only loved us through each moment of our married lives (just as they did for my whole life before Tony).

The Bible says that "children are a gift from the Lord" - and I believe this is true, so true. I also believe that a mother and father who offer grace, forgiveness, generousity and faith to their children are the Lord's gift to them. As my mother and father have each given so much of themselves to us - so to we aspire to give to our children. And maybe - just once in awhile - as God orchestrates the symphony of our lives - we can give a little bit back to our parents, with His blessing.

We love you Mom and Dad - from all of us up here in "the frozen tundra - in the land of the midnight sun" :)
