As I sat and listened to the final student play "Sunrise, Sunset" from 'Fiddler On the Roof', I began to get a little teary as I looked around at all the students (including our two beautiful daughters) and all the eldery people humming and singing along. I was amazed at how fast time had gone - wasn't it just yesterday that I was one of these excited and nervous young pianists waiting my turn? And I thought of how quickly it will be me humming along to the visiting piano studios, Lord willing . . .
It was a tremendous blessing to listen and watch the girls perform their pieces and then observe them graciously visiting with all of the elderly people. A wonderful day was had by all.
